Found these stairs under my fridge.

To everyone asking where the stairs go they end at a dead end. The house was split into 2 apts so I think at one time these stairs when to the main floor. Why they kept the stairs and didn’t remove them I have no goddamn idea…the landlord special??

Someone, at some point, had added on a few rooms, and this was the only access they left open. It made replacing the furnace impossible without removing a basement wall and making a new, bigger access point.”
